For the last five years I've used the Absorber to dry my boat and cars. It is so good I can't bear to use anything else. It holds more water and absorbs faster than towels or real chamois. The chamois I used years ago had to be thoroughly dried out after use or it would rot, and when dry, was hard to store. Then you had to get it wet before use and wring it out frequently since it didn't hold much water. A towel, once wet, doesn't leave a dry surface (all those spots). The Absorber when moderately wet leaves your surface utterly dry. It's kind of amazing, really.

About 10 years ago a friend told me about The Absorber. It has changed my car washing experience! I just purchased a new one this weekend. My other one was 5 years old and still going strong, but I wanted one of the new pretty colored ones. The name "The Absorber" is very appropriate. This is one thirsty towel! Chamois cloths never have a chance against this bad boy! You won't regret buying The Absorber! It really cuts the drying time in half, and leaves NO lint behind. It's also great for wiping down the insides of the car windows while it is still damp. Plus, after you are done drying your car, you can toss it in the washing machine and it comes out like new!

I first used The Absorber for drying my car, it works great, the real deal however is using is as a gym towel on your skin.
It's very small when rolled up in its plastic container. Even a small towel used up too much room in a gym bag. Because it has its own container it can go wet into your bag and not wet anything else. Lastly and most important indefinitely. Use it for camping or backpacking. Oh yes did I mention it is faster than a towel because it absorbs water in contact instantly.

Hands down the best, March 11, 2008 By  Gary L. Richter Jr. (Fairfax, VA) I've been using absorbers for longer than I can remember. I never dry my car or motorcycles with anything else. They don't damage the finish, soak up tons more water than towels or other chamoise, and actually help you stay streak free when drying. This is by far the best drying tool available anywhere. Swimmers use them, car cleaners use them, anytime you have liquid that needs to be picked up... this is it. You can even through them in the dishwasher or washing machine when they get dirty. One of the best inventions EVER!

Spotfree! -I cut it in half or a quarter size and it is great on the kitchen tops, sink, bathroom,... -Works marvelous on kitchen spills -Available almost everywhere -Cheaper than chamois Cons: -You have to store it moist in the canister or it will dry stiff as a cardboard. (Dip it in water and it is good to go again).

Better then a chamois, December 27, 2007 By  Chuck Miller I've always been anal while taking care of our cars. I bought the first Absorber a few years ago and I will never go back to a real chamois again. The Absorber is perfectly inert - it only does one thing and it does it well - it dries my cars like no chamois ever did and it is easy to wring out. I ordered a bunch of them for our children for their cars. Get one, you will not be sorry you did.

good for more than cars and boats , November 26, 2007 These wipe a wet car dry but they also completely dry a wet counter,spills on the kitchen/bathroom floor,pets, yourself on a camping trip/or vacation on which you don't want to use that strange-smelling towel, and one of the best uses I've found, windows. Yes, these towels do do windows and do them spotfree and crystal clear.They also can mop up puddles of water left by incoming childrens feet or dog paws after a rain or snowmelt(and then mop down the dog), wipe down your shower stall,clean the inside of your car's windows and if the Absorber gets dirty- into the washing machine and back into its container.We keep one in every car and several in the house for all of the above reasons and have been using the same ones for many years so I don't know how long they last because we've never had to buy a new one.
